When Suburban Steel Supply began back in 1979 with a focus on the residential industry, builders found structural steel difficult to find and difficult to work with. We made it our goal to change that by removing any obstacles our customers might face when ordering or handling the product. We have carried that same approach to customer service as our focus has grown to include residential and commercial structural steel, rebar and concrete accessories, ornamental/miscellaneous metals and decorative concrete supplies.

Inventory
We provide a vast selection of high quality products. With shipments arriving daily from high quality mills, we are ready to meet customer needs.
Estimating
With a focus on the needs of commercial and residential construction, we employ a dedicated team of in-house estimators that ensure accurate, efficient orders.
Detailing
Suburban Steel Supply is one of only a few fabricators to employ a full-time professional detailing department, staffed with experienced detailers trained in both traditional and CAD detailing.
Fabrication
We employ a complete in-house fabrication team that coordinates with our detailing department to ensure prompt, accurate orders. Quality matters as much to us as it does our customers, so each order is finished with our professional in-house paint shop.
Delivery
We know that in the construction industry, timing is everything. Our dedicated delivery fleet transports materials where our customers want them and when they need them.
On-site Assistance
From conducting field measurements to assisting with installation, our field service teams are ready to respond onsite to make our customers jobs easier.
