Suburban Steel Supply began in 1979 with an initial focus of supplying and fabricating structural steel for the residential construction industry. At that time, residential builders found the product both difficult to find and difficult to work with. From the very beginning, co-founders Chuck Boster and Bill Jaeger made it the company’s goal to remove any obstacles customers might face when ordering or handling their products.

Over time the company carried that same approach and its focus has grown to include residential and commercial structural steel, rebar and concrete accessories, ornamental/miscellaneous metals and decorative concrete supplies.
